Create a MySpace Graphic
To create a graphic, you simply choose from four dynamic fields; they are:
- IP - the computer address of the person viewing your graphic.
- ISP - The internet service provider of the person viewing your graphic.
- Browser - The browser used by the person viewing your graphic.
- OS - The operating system of the person using your graphic.
You can select one or more fields by holding down the control key and click on the fields that you would like included in your graphic.
You can also select the background of your images, the color of your text and the color of the border that surrounds your graphic.
There are two check boxes, Show Text and Has Holder. If you select (check) show text, the text you enter at the bottom of the page will be show in the graphic.
If you select Has Holder (a holder is an image), then the image you select from the list will appear in your graphic.
Holder for Text
Holders are the images currently available to you. Once you click on a holder (image) you'll then need to click on the select button to activate it.
Text: These are lines of text that you can enter into your graphic, each line can contain up to 32 characters. One line works best. Press Add once you enter your text - try to keep it short and sweet :)
Once you have made your selections, click the update button and your new graphic should appear at top under Preview.
If you want to add your own holder (graphic), simply click on Upload Holder and enter the required information. The graphic can not be more than 400 pixels in width.
Once you upload your holder, you will receive 'Your image has been uploaded and will be validated shortly'. Once your holder has been validated, you will be able to select it from the list of holders.
Once you have everything set, simply click on 'Sig Info' and copy the html code and paste it into your website, forum, blog or MySpace Profile
MySpace Graphics FAQ
Is there a fee for this service?
No, everything here is free of charge
Is the viewers IP address exposed to everyone?
What's draws a lot of attention to the custom graphic you create is that people think their private information such as their IP address is being shown to everyone on the site displaying the graphic. What they don't realize is that actually, they are the only ones that can see it - it changes for each viewer. It's not only fun, but it also works to discourage people from misbehaving on your site!
